For personal growth

Growing is almost impossible to notice while it's happening. Day to day nothing changes, and then one day something that used to scare you feels routine. You Rock keeps the before, so you can actually see the after.

What to collect

Things that once felt difficult

Write it down while it still feels hard. Speaking up in a meeting, asking for help, setting a boundary. Later on it will be the only proof you have that it wasn't always easy.

The steps you took

Growth is rarely one big leap. Note the small decisions that moved you: the thing you tried, the advice you finally acted on, the conversation you'd been putting off.

What you figured out

Some things you only learn by doing them. When something finally makes sense, or you find a way of working that suits you better, write it down while it still feels like a discovery.

Signs you've changed

The moment you handled something calmly that used to throw you off, or noticed you no longer needed the reassurance. Those moments are easy to miss unless you write them down.

When it pays off

  • The days you feel like you're standing still
  • When self-doubt tells you nothing has changed
  • Looking back at the end of a year and finding real evidence
  • Facing something new, and remembering you've done this before

Start collecting

Add moments as they happen, a few sentences at a time. Give it a few months and you'll have a record of your progress that doesn't rely on how you happen to feel today.
